Before and after you apply

Applicants on the waiting list can update their information and check status through HABC's My Housing Portal without calling or visiting in person.
You can also call HCVP's Automated Customer Relations Call Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at 443-984-2222.
When your name reaches the top of the waiting list, HABC sends a notice by mail with a date and time for an eligibility interview.
The initial Housing Choice Voucher is good for 120 days, with no extensions except one 30-day extension as a reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities.
