HANO opens public housing waiting lists site-by-site, announced by public notice. As checked on 2026-09-29, HANO's My Housing portal listed two open site-based lists: '2026 New PBV-Capdau Home for the Aged' and '2026 New PBV-Grove Place 2 Apartments,' both open Sept 28-30, 2026. Other sites' lists were not shown as open — check the portal for current openings.

Submit only one application per waiting-list opening.
Keep your confirmation number, but note it does not guarantee a spot on a waiting list.
Update your address and contact info in your My Housing account — HANO can remove you from a list if it can't reach you.
Tell HANO in writing within 10 days if your address, income, or family changes.
Public housing and Housing Choice Voucher lists are separate — apply to each one only when it's open.
